HEATHCOTE NP (Grade 5) Exploration: Ripple Rill and Myuna Creek
Sun 27th Jul 2025
Off-Track, Exploratory, Water Crossings
Bookings available to active members only.
A pristine creek exploration! Starting on the Woronora Dam Road, we descend in to the headwaters of Ripple Rill and follow it down to its junction with Myuna Creek where there is an abandoned settlement. We then explore up Myuna Creek to its origin, emerging back on the road. Really tough, both in the creeks and at the headwaters around the Dam Road but the possibility of finding some special pools. Approx 8 km.
Activity organiser: GARETH D.
A DAY WALK generally takes 5-8 hours, as advised by the Activity Organiser.
The GRADE reflects the level of difficulty & distance. Refer to explanation of walking grades on the club website.
