HEATHCOTE NP (Grade 5) Exploration: Mt Westmacott and Kingfisher Creek

Q3 - OPENS IN JUNE, Off-Track, Exploratory, Water Crossings
Starting from Waterfall station we head up to Mt Westmacott via the Scout Camp. We then explore the boulders, crags, and caves to the South West of the peak, picking a suitable spot to descent into the early sections of Kingfisher Creek. We continue down the creek to Yelgun Cave where a formal track takes us back to the Kingfisher Pool, returning to the station. Approx 12 km.
