Follow the Red Track's steep descent to Bungonia Creek, then through the Slot Canyon, which involves climbing over, under, around big boulders. Possible wet feet.
Ascent (approx 400 m) up a ridge of Mt Ayre.
Max 6 members. Long 10-12 hour day.
