DESCRIPTION:Starting at Albion Park, this ride will 'circumcycle' (If th
at's even a word!) Lake Illawarra. The ride around the lake is generally
very flat and on designated bike paths and cycleways. Some of these are
on quiet backstreets but we do need to take care on a small section (a
few 100 metres) on a busier road. There is plenty to see on the lake and
there should be quite a few different water birds along the shoreline.
We will ride at a steady pace but with breaks when needed, We will be ou
t for morning tea and lunch. This ride is suitable for most bikes. Rider
s must be self-sufficient and responsible for their own repairs and equi
pment. All riders must wear a properly fitting bike helmet. Please note:
Pedal-assisted E-bikes (Max 250W) are welcome, but E-bike riders may no
t be covered by club insurance if there are no traditional bikes in the
group. Distance: 45 km Average pace: 18 - 20 km/h Activity Organiser: JO
 HN H.
