Kangaroo Ck has numerous pools and cascades and one of the best swimming holes in the park. This walk will follow the creek from its source at Waterfall, down to Karloo Pool and then out via the Karloo track to Heathcote, The footpad along the creek is often barely visible and can be rough going after the Falls and Pool. Plenty of rock-hopping and bush-scrambling along the way, especially if the path is overgrown. A steepish climb out of Karloo is not what we need at the end of the walk but it is what it is! Possible short swims at morning tea and lunch. A day to remember, so to speak!
