Wed 21st Oct 2026
Bookings available to active members only.
Come and discover some of the lesser-known gems of Georges River National Park on this fascinating 10-11 km bushwalk!
We’ll begin our adventure at Yeramba Lagoon, taking a leisurely walk around the lagoon to see the progress being made in restoring and cleaning up this beautiful area.
From there, we’ll venture onto some lesser-known tracks through the national park before crossing Henry Lawson Drive to explore the Ridge Track. Along the way, there will be plenty to discover – spectacular views across the landscape, unusual and fascinating rock formations, tiny native flowers hiding among the bush, and magnificent trees towering overhead.
We’ll then make our way down to the river for a wonderfully scenic finish, following a beautiful riverside route through parks and along the boardwalk to Lambeth Park.
It promises to be a varied and interesting walk, with a great mix of bushland, ridge-top views, fascinating natural features and peaceful river scenery.
