DESCRIPTION:MORNING WALK - Beginning in Oliver St Heathcote on unnamed t
 rack, meeting the Friendly Trail to the Pipeline. Then on to Battery Cau
 seway, followed by an unmarked 200 m to Gunners Pool, a very picturesque
  spot with enough water for a cooling dip. Very brief opportunity to wal
 k off-track for a few minutes and explore the small camping cave, follow
 ed by morning tea at Gunners Pool. The military terms relate to this are
 a being a training area for troops in WWII. Anyone arriving by train can
  be met at Heathcote Railway Station by prior arrangement with leader. T
 here is a train arriving from Sutherland direction at 8.40 am, otherwise
  meet 8.45 am at the western end of Oliver St, Heathcote. Approx 8-9 km.
