Day Walk exploring Palona Brook involves following the brook and trackless scramble. Beginning southern end of Lady Carrington Drive to Palona Cave track. Beyond the cave scrambling up the small waterfall, following Palona Brook before a steep off-track walk/scramble to Karani Ridge Trail, joining the Wises Trail to Bertram Stevens Drive. A short walk along the road to return to Lady Carrington Drive via the Walumarra Trail.
Wet feet, slippery surfaces, scratchy bush and rough underfoot are guaranteed.
