Between railway stations at either end - Thirroul or Austinmer to the South and Scarborough or Coalcliff to the North.
Most of the walking is along the sand and rock platforms typical of NSW beaches, but there are a few places where we have to take pavements by the side of the road or short, informal bush tracks. Lots of swimming opportunities and plenty of cafes along the way.
The exact stations and direction will depend on timetables but low tide is a driver and that is around 9 am.
Approx 12 km.
Activity organiser: GARETH D.
A DAY WALK generally takes 5-8 hours, as advised by the Activity Organiser.
The GRADE reflects the level of difficulty & distance. Refer to explanation of walking grades on the club website.
