ROYAL NP (Grade 5) Exploration: CURRACURRONG CREEK & THE WATTAMOLLA BURROWS
Sat 23rd Aug 2025
Q3 - OPENS IN JUNE, Off-Track, Exploratory
This is an exploration of the creek that spectacularly pours over the cliffs at Eagle Rock. We will follow it upstream as far as our adventurer spirit allows, but certainly to where the track from Wattamolla Road used to come in a lovely camping and swimming spot. From there we'll head South to the WWII Tank Firing Range on Curra Moors to explore its history. Off-track and exploratory Grade 5 walk.
Approx 15 km.
Activity organiser: GARETH D.
Members Only (when Q3 Activities open in June)
A DAY WALK generally takes 5-8 hours, as advised by the Activity Organiser.
The GRADE reflects the level of difficulty & distance. Refer to explanation of walking grades on the club website.
